An amazing 2019 comes to an end!

When 2019 started I could not have dreamt about what an incredible year it was about to be! So many of my dreams came true and I'm very grateful to everyone who helped me in anyway towards achieving many of my goals in 2019. Without owners, staff, sponsors, family, friends this would all not be possible. So THANK YOU!!

That we have participated in so many 5* shows this year, with both Nations Cups and World Cups, is something I value very high. Thankful to have gotten the trust from my owners to produce these horses to the highest level. Hoping that we have another great year ahead of us with many more big shows. I want to thank Al Asayl Showjumping for trusting me with Diva, who has developed more than I could have expected this year. She's a special lady with a lot of blood and nerve but with endless amount of work we finally got everything in place. For me she will always be a life changing horse. To have gotten so many placings in 1.60 GP's the first year we are at this level is fantastic! I'm hoping that we still have many more shows coming up for us. Also a big thank you to Judy-Ann Melchior at Zangersheide who have trusted me with many horses this season and specially with Cooper. Cooper is an amazing guy who I'm extremely happy to have on my team. Looking forward to him developing even more next year. I have gotten wildcards for the two 5* shows in Al Shaqab(Doha, Qatar) next year February/March. So really hoping that we will make it for these shows. 

We also had a very good year when it comes to selling horses. This year we sold more than 20 horses which is the biggest number so far. It's always hard to see your favourites go, some more then others, but it's a part of the business and necessary to keep everything going. It also opens up new opportunities with new owners, clients, partnerships and horses. One thing often leads to another. So I'm looking forward to what 2020 has to offer us all and hoping it will continue as good as 2019 was. Forever grateful that I get to work with what I love and feeling very fortunate to live this life!

Thank you Olivia for always taking care of my superstars, Bassem for the training, Mandy and Rose for always keeping a track of everything at home. And also to everyone else who always gives a helping hand when needed. We are very lucky to have many extra hands to help us out at home. 

Now I have had some nice relaxing days with my family and can't wait to get back to my horses and to build up for the next season! We have two smaller shows coming up before the year is finished with some new exciting horses. Then we start up the new season in Sentower, Peelbergen, etc.
